William Edwin Barnes 1877-1962 (centre row, right) who was in 1902 a forward for West Ham football team when they won the 1902 F.A.Cup (shown in the picture). Barnes started his football career with Thames Iron Works team 1895-1896 and then went on to Sheffield United 1899-1902, West Ham 1902-1904, Luton Town 1904-?. Later he played for Queens Park Rangers. Retiring from playing football, he then went on to coach and manage Athletic Bilbao 1914-1916 and 1920-1921.
