Day 5, #7

So where is the trail that we have been following and that should be plainly visible in the grass? And where does it turn down the forested slope on the left? If we can't find it, are we going to be forced to bushwack through downed timber on a steep slope? What if that's the only way can we get down to level ground that has some water? Will we be able to make it before dark in less than three hours, or will have to stay up here where there isn't any water?
